I work for a ready mix/cinder block & paver/Landscape retaining wall precast producer (pretty
much anything concrete) in the precast division. Either way you go will give you a nice patio.

I do 6 gal batches alot to split into 2 3gal batches to try different yeasts or add fruit or
coffee to one or the other. I use 5 gal carboys for primary and 3gal carboys for secondary.

than the suggested yeast for the kit. I havnt tried the kit because I prefer german Hefes, UFO

If you use framing lumber a 2x12 is already 1 1/2" x 11 1/4". Mine is made out of 3/4" cabinet
