Nice build!! From the first picture I had guessed where you were located because it looked a
lot like my neighborhood. From your further descriptions I know we are farther apart, but you
    sure would be...

you will need to re-title the thread if you go the keg route - 2 coolships would then be a
coolfleet....Yes, here all week, try the veal and tip your waitress.I would go with CoolArmada

I am also looking forward to how you approach the arm for the panel. I have been trying to come
up with a solution that I am comfortable supporting that much $$ worth of electronics.

If I have time I am hoping to brew a honey amber ale recipe that I have been working on. I also
need to move my barleywine to secondary on oak.

I'm going to be brewing this tomorrow. It will be my first barleywine and my first partigyle
brew. I have to make some adjustments though because I can't fit 28 lbs of grain in my mash
    tun. Still work...

  • Posted in thread: Labor Day = Brewing Day!! What you guys got planned? on 09-01-2011 at 09:00 PM
Not brewing on Labor Day (SWMBO's Bday), but I have tomorrow off so I will be brewing
BierMuncher's Black Pearl Porter and kegging an IPA.

So is the speed at which you sparge only a consideration for fly sparging?

I mash in a 10 gallon drink cooler with a copper manifold. I mash at around 154 degrees and
    batch sparge.
