    Sounds like you may have got a bad bottle / batch..I thought the beer was ok, not great like
    some of their other stuff, but definitely not the taste and flavors you're describing.

    I wouldn't ever brew with gas and an open flame on an apartment balcony, but having said that
    the blichmann burners are the most quiet I've used and seen.
