Currently I'm only doing 1-gallon BIAB, so the amount material I have to strain is a small

Bleach will work fine and you'll defiantly want to do a fresh water rinse. I've done the rinse

Did my first batch of all grain BIAB (1 gallon) lastnight. Everything went well till mash in.
