I've bought 4 strains from them and only one wasn't up to snuff. The Kolsch and Munichfest are
freaking awesome! The Flanders ale culture was pretty good as well. However, the BugFarm #1 I
    bought a ye...

I would say I was topping off a couple of pints every time. It was a freshly dumped barrel as

I would definitely keep a beer to top off the barrel around. We are in the same town and I was
topping my 5 gallon barrel off every couple of weeks.

normal yeast I've never gone more than 5 generations. I usually wash Private Collection Belgian

I have used ECY Kolsch once. I fermented at about 66 and it turned out well. IMO, the yeast let
more of the pils malt come through then the WL 029 that I have used in the past. I am curious
    to see how...

FWIW, when I try and pack a lot of grain in the 20 l tube for the 50 l model, I mash for 90
minutes to get 75% BHE. I did a 60 min once with a very full malt tube and my efficiency was
    around 65.

Has anyone replaced the fine sieve screens on their 50l BM? The edges of my screens are getting
very frayed and I would like to change them out before they get too bad. Thanks!
