Yes, I use Starsan, which is why I was concerned about the soft water. Here is the local water
report. Plus the houses water softener which I am not even sure what all it adds.

I find that a 1 inch tube fits perfectly inside the three piece airlock. I use it in my
buckets. I would post a pic, but it is not handy right now. 5 ft of 1 inch tube is about right
