I decided to do an experiment with a pale kit from northern brewer.I brewed the shining star

Also not quite sure why you put it in the bath tub, but if you stirred everything up, it will
take a while to settle back down.

I would bottle now, 4 weeks should be plenty of time for fermentation to finish. Especially
with a gravity that low. And clear is a relative term, it won't be bmc clear yet. Bottle,

I haven't tasted the carbonated finished product, but flat I just don't think it's clean enough
for a lager. And I used Saaz hops, and dry hopped with them, and I'm really pleased with the

experiment as it sounds, unless you have a ferm chamber, I would find it hard to believe you'll
    be able to contr...

That's why I bought the Safale in the first place. i've used the kits before though, and its a
new package for the yeast that came with it, so I thought I might use both packs(I bought two
    kits) and h...

It is a Cooper's Kit. It could still be a fun experiment just to see if there is any
difference. I guess I would just measure daily gravity readings to see what the different
    strains were doing?
