If you have some CO2 handy, place a trash bag over your vessel, flood it with CO2, and release

Glad it turned out for you, sir. New beer can be somewhat in-your-face; it will mellow a little
bit in the bottle if given time. (Usually doesn't happen here at Man Cave Brewing.)

What about Belgian Wits? Are there dry yeasts suited to them?Safbrew T-58 is my favorite
inexpensive dry Belgian yeast. Good fruit/spice when fermented in the upper 60s to low 70s.
