  • im a extract with specialty grain brewer looking at some day going to partial and all grain. trying to get the system down before doing those things though.

    first brew was a blue moon clone that i aerated while at 150 forgetting you dont do that until cool. not sure how it will turn out. have drank a couple tastes and it doesnt taste all that great but friends have said it tastes fine. will put it in the cooler and chill it so i can find out

    second brew was a fat tire clone that got rave reviews in blind taste tests with the bottled version. they picked mine over the bottle. took it to a buffet concert and was killed in an hour.

    3rd brew was the fat tire clone again about to move to keg

    4th brew a friend gave me a recipe for a yellow summer ale what he calls it. sitting in primary right now.

    for anyone looking for a dutch over and if you have a sports academy near it was the cheapest
    place i could find. but i have also used stainless steal bowls and just used aluminum foil for
