I'd think it's more likely the dissolved solids in your tap water making you think your
hydrometer is off.

Yes sir, in my limited experience I've gotten by with a short (under 10 min) boil. I wish you

I typically don't measure the water, but just make sure there's enough to cover the fruit and
not too much that it would be way watered down. Anyone else have a real answer for the king of
