Has anyone tried this with Simcoe hops? I want to compare Amarillo to another hop? I am trying
to do this same recipe exactly with another style of hops....any suggestions?

I have no idea. I don't know maltodextrin is I've been trying to find info on it.

I brewed a pumpkin porter and the recipe had maltodextrin in it. I missed the step and added it
at the end of the boil for about 10 minutes....will my porter be messed up or bad now?

Thanks, what do you mean by doing now in the secondary? Ya I can't cold condition in the carboy
yet(ooking into chest freezers and temperature controlling options).

Im brewing a german lager but using the wyeast german ale yeast since I can't get it to a lower
temp. I am going to primary ferment at 58° and secondary the same. Totaling about 14 days.
