    What was the specific gravity of your wort? With a 600ml starter you didn't get very much
    growth out of your yeast, but you didn't hurt the little guys either, if anything you upped
    their vitality so ...

    If they are just dead hulls then, yeah, they would end up being nutrient for the live yeast.
    But that's a pretty warm "soup" they've been sitting in, I don't imaging they fared to well in
    that environ...

    Seems to me like your just going to be dumping a pile of dead, and potentially decomposing
    yeast cells in with the newer pack, why bother?

    Probably just means that it krausen's like a mofo. Letting it blow-off would not hurt it any
    more than it would any other strain.
