  • I got into home brewing after i tasted my grandpa's home brew. I continually researched the process for about a year prior to brewing my first batch. Man, i wish i would have just started brewing instead of reading. But i must say, all that reading sure paid off. Everyone i have had taste my Porter has said "This tastes just like a commercial beer.". If they only knew that first batch was really just an hour of boiling some pre-hopped malt extract. So Easy!rnrnCurrently, i have three primary's and no secondary. I bottle and keg my brews. E-Bay rocks for the keg set-ups. I got the complete two keg conversion kit with keg and CO2 for $275. I seriously felt like i was ripping the guy off.rnrnI am currently in the process of researching all-grain brewing and equipment. The problem with extract brewing is it is too easy. And, i figure i can't get one of those cool blue ribbons brewing malt extracts.
