  • Started out with a Mr. Beer Kit
    Read Charlie's book and started collecting equipment
    Brewed lots of extracts
    Made the jump to all grain
    Was brewer of the year for 3 years straight at my club
    Won 1st place at the Blue Bonnet for a smoked porter in 1996
    Got sick and had to quit drinking and sold all my equipment
    Got well and found out that I could drink again
    15 years later....all grain brewing again with 10 gallon pot and 10 gallon coolers using pump and's the KATZ AZZ

    I used 2 pounds of flaked corn...lots of DMS. Also my sampling was from my hydrometer test
