  • Just decided about a month ago i needed a hobby and beer was the only thing that came to mind. So far just using extract's until getting down the basics then hopefully moving on to partial mash next! Currently i have a Amber Ale kit brewing in a plastic 5g primary.

    Thanks everyone just a follow up .. I have secured the probe and insulated it with bubble
    wrap.. Chest freezer has my beer at a nice 65F and holding steady.. Thanks to everyone for the
