WLP1272 American Ale II yeast. Pretty tasty. Next time (soon) I'm going with some 1450 Denny's
Favorite to bring out a little more malt without being sweet. This turned out great and I'll be

Mostly its an oxygen thing. For secondary you want as little permeability as possible. In
primary its not,as much of a concern because of the near constant co2 production an positive
    pressure. This ma...

Subbed. I have been continually ratcheting my temps down with this yeast, but on my last batch
at 59-60 actual beer temp I got the dreaded apricot/peach fruity flavors in the last cream ale
    I've done....

Awesome! Good info. I feel good about my temps now, both Brett and Sacc, and can't wait to
compare. I know that Brett develops with time, but what so you think a schedule looks like for
    a Brett IPA to...

A quick update: the temperature in my fermentation chamber (chest freezer) was up to 78 this
morning on the free rise. I added a heat pad and set it to heat at 75 degrees to keep these
    suckers warm an...

Had a copper IC then switched it a 30 plate PC.... After using and cleaning a half dozen times
I am now using a 50' SS IC again with my whirlpool while my PC stares at us in envy and
    disgust.Just coul...
