  • I was introduced to home brewing (and this site) by my brother-in-law who is also a member of the site. I was one who has never seemed to like beer all that much, but after trying one of his simple extract brews (a wheat beer), I was impressed how much better it tasted than anything I've had previously (which was just B/M/C style beers, nothing fancy, but I'm not a fan of them). I've become fond of many craft beers and various beer styles since I've started homebrewing.

I don't get to brew too often because of pharmacy school. Still get home to brew some 5 gallon batches now and then. Glad to be a part of the site!

    Past Brews:
American Wheat, Milk Stout, Apfelwein, Tripel, Honey Brown, Scotch Ale, American Wheat, IPA, APA, Bavarian Weizen, Dunkelweizen, Belgian Golden Strong Ale, and probably a few others that I don't remember!

Sorry to hear that. I agree with two_one_seven that attaching the bag to the handle of your
kettle works, but also be careful about too much nylon bag hanging off of the handle near the

Pizza Plant's beer at the Buffalo Brewfest, Inferno Pod Ale, ran through a Hop Rocket filled
with Simcoe, that one was good! Food is great too, even though I've only been there a couple of
    times.
