A container of garlic powder rolled out of my cupboard and smashed my hyrdrometer a couple
weeks ago. It's a few more bucks to replace. All hobbies are supposed to cost money, right? :)

Aren't Blue Moon bottles twist tops? I was always told to use pop tops :mug:Star-san or
Iodophor... I've yet to make a decision, but I am changing from bleach.

Infection most likely. I've done 6 batches and it's been smooth sailing until now. They've only

Thanks for the crash course guys. I think I jumped to conclusions about the yeast not being
viable. I will take some hydrometer readings and get back to you.

Hi all, I tried searching the forums for my answer but didn't find a good answer.First and
