Quick tip, and I dont't think this is really specific to this model --- I think it's for most
conical fermenters: Do NOT cold crash or let the beer sit for a month before harvesting yeast
    out of the d...

Quick question, do you use a heat transfer grease compound in the thermowell to insure accurate
temperature gathering? Thanks in advance. I'm amazed at how well they've cut the costs of
    conicals.Nope,...

I'm confused. Why would a conical "kill" yeast?Sent from my iPhone using Home BrewI dunno where
the heck that's coming from. It's nonsense. If that were true, then they need to send a memo to
    every la...

Looks great! So I saw your info about the solenoids, and I'm wondering if you can shed some
light on some confusion I'm having. The Honeywells, while fantastic with their safety features,
    show that the...

concerned about the solenoid situation.I understand the safety reasoning behind the Honeywell
    solenoid, but I'm s...

Yeah I'd focus on the 8 side pieces first, trimming them down with equal cuts to both ends. I'd
try to stay away from cutting the 45 degree angled connectors -- those aren't really meant to
    be cut, an...

Any further thoughts after using a few more times? These conicals seem to be a great value
without compromising quality. I'm interested in getting one.Doing great so far. Only complaints
    I've had:1. L...

That's the pic I could get from my phone. I can bend the pipe to the fip but the front edge of
the manifold runs right across the fip. I think I'm going to just split the pipe and add a 90
    degree join...
