I am new to home brewing, i am on my 12th brew which is a IPA.
I originally got into homebrewing for a cheaper way to get drunk, but that changed when i say how much fun it was and found out how much money this hobby is.
After i went to the store and got the old apple juice, buckets and bakers yeast and puked after 3 weeks of fermentation and bottling, then i went to The Brewers Appearance in Freehold N.J. and spent well over 200 dollars for my first real brew and good equipment i knew it wasn't gonna be cheap and easy, but i knew it was gonna be fun just like cooking. -
next up for brew is a Amber Ale that i want to experiment with and then after that i will be doing an Oak Imperial Stout.
Right now i am using extracts. I plain to move up to to all grains soon. - IPA.

If you are aiming at more of a pumpkin pie, most (pie) recipies also call for cloves nutmeg and
allspice in varying degrees. I would put them in at the same concentration as the cinnamon,

molasses, ...
