    ABOUT ME

  • Originally from Denver but moved to Sioux Falls in 2011. Been Brewing since 2008. Started with small extract brewing and now am doing full boil all grain beers. In my free time I am usually brewing and if not, I am out enjoying time with my wife and son. We enjoy the outdoors and I am and avid fisher and hunter. Any sort of adventure is my kind of thing and I'll try almost anything once!

  • I started as a small extract brewer doing mainly recipe kits. I started with a home brew full kit that I bought from Northern Brewer. I then moved up to full boils from the partials I was doing and then that morphed into all grain. My current set up uses two rectangular coleman coolers with a copper tubing manifold for the MT. I am in the process of building a single tier stand with 3 15 gallon pots to move up to 10 gallon batches. I also do wine and have at least 2 fermenters of both beer and wine going at all times in the pipeline plus two kegs.

I want to order the burners today. I'm thinking LP BG-14's for the HLT and the BK. Any other
suggestions before I do? Will the BG-14 converted to LP be enough to get a good boil on a 10
    gallon batch? ...

I'm using 60 quart aluminum. Each square has an ID of 21". The angled pieces measure 16"

I know there are about a million of these threads on here but I needed some place to track my

I keg carb my apfelwein if you wanna call that wine. In fact, I won't drink it any other way. I
usually put it in a champagne bottle and use cages to make sure there's no bottle bombs or

Does anyone have the dimensions for this pot? I can't find anything consistent online. I
believe it's 16" but am not sure.
