    OK, this is the second question:To be able to 'properly' clean the 'innards' I must slide the
    innards out of the case. Right? So, I'm guessing that the innards slide to the inside for
    removal. Right?B...

    This won't be fun, I'm sure.The directions said to remove the AC (slide out from the case) and
    clean the guts of the AC yearly. Well, of course, I didn't do that so now 4 years in it must be
    dirty and...

    That has not been my experience with the two I now own. Earlier, I remember switches and/or
    dials for the user to select. But, now not so much.Thanks
