    ABOUT ME

  • las vegas
  • brewing,drinking,enjoying life
  • searching for a job at a brewery
  • Began in July with a co-worker and the basic setup with a glass carboy. Realizing my serious interest I obtained a few sankeys and now brew 10 gallon batches. Stepped up to closed fermentation in a sankey keg and typically use the no-chill method after brewing! Built a kegerator onto a minifridge with a 3-tap tower and have recently welded together a SS 2-tier AG brew rig.
  • Strawberry Ale;
    Pumpkin Ale;
    Irish Red Ale;
    Passion Fruit or Hibiscus ale of some sort.
  • I now ferment and serve using the closed-fermentation technique discussed here: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f13/closed-system-pressurized-fermentation-technique-44344/

    Kegged:
    Honey Weizen
    Irish Red Ale
    super hop IPA
    Trappist Ale
    Nut Brown Ale

    you could just soak QDs in cleaner than sanitizer and you're done, not too much hassle. I
    bought tri-clov...

    won't work or you'll have to rig something to make it work. A new spear might cost $20+ anyway,
