Get a clip fpr the autosiphon to snap onto the edge of your fermenter. I need to use a
rubberband on it to hold my autosiphon at the right level. Only submerge it a couple inches

I've been doing some SMaSH brews just for this reason. I can definitely spot 2-Row malt now and
starting to get a feel for hops- especially cascade.

I used my tap water. It may have high alkilinity I am not sure, but I have used the same water
