Additional thought on the 20 oz container. The extra money to upgrade to 5 lb is well worth it,
especially when you take into account the cost to refill - ~ $10 for 8 oz, $13 for 5 lb. OTOH I
have the...Posted in thread: Question about kegerator kit on 04-18-2009 at 07:22 PM
I was looking at kegconnection.com last night and I saw that they have a couple of kits that
allow you to use a 20 oz paintball CO2 canister. I haven't been doing a lot of homebrewing
lately, so my ma...Posted in thread: Too much iodophor? on 02-07-2009 at 05:59 PM
I screwed up when mixing up sanitizer and used about an ounce of BTF in 5 gallons of water and
it stained my plastic fermenter and blow-off hose. Will this cause a problem with my beer? I

Just a quick update: The beer is ok at best, and is nothing like Sam Adams Boston Ale. I don't
really have a frame of reference to compare it to, but let's just say that my wife likes it and
she doesn...Posted in thread: Boston Ale brew is in the books.... on 02-17-2007 at 03:57 AM
The title says it all. I just pitched my yeast and have sat down to enjoy a Sam Adams Boston
Lager. I decided a couple weeks ago that it was time to brew again, but I didn't know what to
try to brew. ...Posted in thread: Who's brewing this weekend (Feb. 16-18)? on 02-15-2007 at 04:37 PM
I'm brewing a Sam Adams Boston Ale clone this weekend. I've got everything I need except for 5
