I added about (definitely about, no measuring involved) 1.5 cups of coffee to my first stout.
It was VERY heavy on the coffee flavor. I added to my bottling bucket along with the priming
    sugar. I woul...

This is just from what ive read, but stouts don't necessarily benefit from it. I've never
brewed a double batch and put one in a secondary and directly bottled the other, but from what
    ive read most p...

There are no fermentables in the coffee so no reason for secondary. My Irish Mocha Stout was

  • Posted in thread: Mead Fermentation on 09-10-2012 at 02:58 PM
It turns out the fermentation didn't actually stop, I'm an idiot and didn't realize the alcohol
in the airlock had partially evaporated and the level was too low. Once I topped it off it
    started bubbl...

Welcome to the group! I did almost the same thing with fresh strawberries, once. The pulp
blocked the airlock, and when it blew, pulp hit the ceiling. I suggest moving all of the
    contents to larger co...

I just posted a thread about my mead actually. For the first 48 hours nothing happened, I had
used the leftovers from my last batch and thought maybe it was all dead. I was going to buy new
    yeast the ...
