If I'm looking at this correctly, your power in will need to have a live male plug connector
which is very dangerous. You should replace the female receptacle with a male receptacle.

You may also try to use a coupler on the inside instead of the nut, gasket on outside, and
tighten from outside. Now that I look again, you would probably need more washers on the

The item I started this thred for can be found at Brewers Hardware at the following link. These
are great fittings to be soldered and I would imagine welded.

Yep, Kevink nailed it 1/2" female ftp inside and rest of the coupler was lathed to be 1/2" male
