  • Like most home brewers I got started off with a kit purchased from the local home brew shop as a gift from my girl friend. What started off as a hobby quickly developed into a passion leading to book purchases, lots of study, and much more beer.rnrnCurrently I brew using DME and get all my kits from the local shop. Currently building an all grain system with a friend of mine and should be done and brewing sometime in November.

Steep it in ~150 degree F water for a couple minutes. That's all it takes - pasteurization is
quick and easy. This should kill everything that can grow in beer, without losing too many
    aromatics from ...

temps with pure CO2. Looking at a carb chart I'd need to have my regulator at around 1 psi to
    carb at 38. I ...

The real question is: how do they take something that costs $9-10 per 4 pack, and then make a
barrel-aged version that is over 20 bucks for a pint? All has to do with time. The longer

I have a Celebration Ale in the fridge right now. It isn't red though. I never knew the

That will not work the CO2 at a lower psi will not flow against or into the higher psi of the
N2 gas. You need a blender aka a diaphragm that uses the high psi to push the lower psi out
    through anothe...
