I have a firestone pin-lock post and it works. The fittings shown in the OP's photos should get
you there. The flare fitting extends up into the post and allows the poppet legs to rest of the
top of t...Posted in thread: Cheap, easy, effective beer line cleaner on 02-26-2013 at 01:52 AM
How were you able to get a disconnect attached to the 3/8'' threads? I went to my local
homebrew shop and both the cornelius and firestone ball lock posts would not fit. Do you just
force it on and me...Posted in thread: Regulator Issue on 01-16-2013 at 05:07 PM
Sure thing.I have a double body regulator. I always leave the CO2 tank on when connected to the
regulator, and I pretty much leave the setting on both outputs at 12psi. I have found that when
first ca...Posted in thread: Regulator Issue on 01-16-2013 at 01:37 AM
The gas does stay on. If this item is faulty that will be the third faulty item in the same
order. I've had to return a shank and a leaky nitro regulator.Posted in thread: Regulator Issue on 01-16-2013 at 12:00 AM
I have a regulator that will go down to 0 on the output after being set to 12 psi. This only
seems to happen when I am initially force carbing a beer. Is this normal? Usually I will bump

Yes the oring is metal and it does not wrap the entire way around. I think in production they

flathead, ...Posted in thread: Can I fix this shank? on 12-21-2012 at 09:28 PM
Hello, I purchased a kegerator setup and am just now getting around to hooking it up. I didn't
notice this problem until I hooked up a faucet and spewed beer everywhere. One of my shank's
o-rings is i...Posted in thread: How long does a nitro tank last? on 12-17-2012 at 02:40 AM
Sorry to bump my own thread. Surly there must be some people here who own a nitro system and
can tell me a normal amount of PSI loss per corny keg? I serve at 30 PSI, and carbonate with
regular CO2.Posted in thread: How long does a nitro tank last? on 12-15-2012 at 10:17 PM
I am not totally certain how large the tank is. It is pretty large. I have an image of it next
to a 20# CO2 tank: are right, I was reading the gauge wrong.
