    ABOUT ME

  • Behind the zion curtain
  • I live in Utah. It can be rough, but skiing, brewing, and general nerdery keep me sane. I am graduating with a BS in Chemistry May 2009 from the University of Utah, and will begin a PhD in Biological Chemistry there in the following July. If you want to talk brewing chemistry/microbiology, ask away.
  • Skiing,Brewing
  • Student/Researcher
  • American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC), AHA, ACS
  • Started brewing extract in 2007 with a buddy of mine while I was spending 2 weeks back in Boise over the summer. When I came back to SLC, I stocked up on extract kits, and did that for ~18 brews. I did 5 partial mash brews before I realized I had to do go AG, which I've been doing since early 2008.

    5-10GB of t...

What did you have done to your shoulder? Being a physical therapist and homebrewer, I'm torn in
what to tell you. PT would say... take it easy and no heavy lifting (kettle, carboy, etc.). As
