Kits tend to cut as many corners as possible in my experience - one of mine suggested bottling
7 days after fermentation begins. Youre better off taking a little time with it and doing

When you say lifting lid I assume it's in a bucket?? Be careful letting out the co2 and letting

Thanks. The recipe with the kit had the whole primary/secondary process completed in about

Doing my 1st batch (a weizen) and it's been in the primary 1 week now. Just took a reading and
it looks to be at about 1.014 and still fairly active fermentation visible with the lid off.
