  • I don't watch TV. That is time better spent in the garden or perfecting a brew.
  • In about 1995 my friend Keith and I learned the craft from his Dad, John. Over the years I have been an on again, off again brewer but have always loved it. I am getting serious about it now and pursuing brewing not only as my hobby, but as a career. What's the saying? Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.
Keith and I are still friends, still brew together at times and talk almost daily about brewing.
I just upgraded to all grain and 10 gallon batches. Freaking awesome. I love it. Everything worked flawlessly first time! Though I feel like I am learning to brew all over again.
I just found BeerSmith 2 and can tell you that I am in brew heaven. I have learned a lot about brewing just from playing around in that software

I am going to have my kids paint signs for mine. I friend of mine that works at Taylor Guitars
made signs for his from pieces of Koa. He sketched the names on, then burned it into the wood.

I'm glad I finished my hops bed and trellis project Thursday, because after the day I had
Friday it will be a while before I am useful again. I broke my left Tibia. What a craptacular
    thing to happen ...

SO I have just about finished my trellis. I drove two 10' old well pipes several feet into the
ground. Then bolted a 21' well pipe onto each. There is a pulley at the top of each, and a boat
