  • 34 y/o true mope. Cicero IL. New to the brewing hobby. I have a penchant for cider and mead, and was introduced to the hobby via CraigTube.

  • Special home crafted cider blend with Champagne yeast and additional homemade and synthetic nutrients. Should top out at about 18 to 20 ABV if lucky. Will be starting this the week of 9/23/13
  • 2 gallons Craigtube cider, going for 5 days now.

  • CT Cider. Got me drunk as fXXk.

    Unfortunately an auto-siphon is not an option at this time.

    Have you added any pectinase yet? WVMJI've never used Pectinase but apparently it is widely
    used by cider-makers. B&G has some for $2.25, might have to make a run some time...

    Im guessing that you're not really interested in bulk aging it for a while then? My experience
    with cider making is that they have all become absolutely crystal clear over a period of about
    4+ months....
