So a few days ago, I had an accident and spilled some chopped-up walnuts in my mash. It looks
fine so far (didn't want to waste the rye), but I'm curious about whether anybody's ever mixed
    nuts in wit...

^^That could be; sometimes I have wondered. Does anything know something that would help?

Hm...Ever since I heard that Palin had fried butter on a stick, I've been curious. I'll
probably never work up the nerve to try it even if I had the chance (sounds like a portable

Wow...I live not far from Bloomington! When I don't want to guess about my water's quality

    faucets) with some s...

I like to fry some bacon, and then crumble it up on a plate and leave the grease in the bottom
of the skillet. I slice up some potatoes, toss them into the bacon grease and fry them with
    salt and pepp...

My favorite? The boss who tried to get me to do work that I wasn't qualified for and hadn't
been hired to do. And then she yelped at me for asking questions. I finally just walked off the
    job and have...

No kidding. I have one hanging just outside my window; it's really good about getting the
mosquitos. Now if I could do something about the flies that get into my house, I'll be happy.

Hm...When in doubt, turn to Google. What I'm seeing is that a little mold is normal and can be
solved by wiping it down with a rag and heavy salt water. Also, if the mold gets out of control
    and grows...

  • Posted in thread: Belgian Saison .... left it in indirect sunlight today ... crap! on 07-23-2013 at 01:39 AM
Hm...I've always heard to avoid direct sunlight but my brews have been exposed to indirect
sunlight a few times without much of a noticeable effect. Maybe you'll be fine if the sunlight
    didn't cause y...
