Brewed two gallons of mead just after I left my wife. Because I had up sticks and left I didn't
have every thing. But I did have 1.3 kg of Tanzanian leatherwood honey and 1.3kg of dark Greek
    honey. So...

Naw it was too not fun using the drill to persist with it. I'm just wondering if I'm missing a
trick. As I recently bottled a mead witch had been sat in secondary since 2013 and there was

How big batch size was this? Just made my first kiwi mead myself, used about 2.5 pounds kiwis
in 5 liters (1.3gal) batch. Hopefully turns out good, the smell in fermenter was amazing! This
    is my second...

I think that may have been the problem. In hindsight I would have heated the elderberries. As I
made a 3 gallon batch which I split into 3 x 1 gallon demi John's it was only one of the 3 that
    gave me ...

Its not the clearest but it has come into its own. Took a long time for the cherry to meow out
but it is now very drinkable. Time has helped in every way.

Just to fill in this batch has recently been bottled and I think the 6kg of berries was too
