I've brewed this for the past 3 years. It takes about 3 months to age, mainly for the spice

Thanks, I was hoping it was something to do with the tubing (I have the cheap, clear 5/16" ID

The sound only occurs when air is flowing (eg, if I purge the keg, or pour a glass), otherwise,
it's perfectly silent.
