    ABOUT ME

  • A Michigander living on the West Coast near San Francisco, CA. Some favorite beers: Bells - Oberon, 2 Hearted Ale, Ninkasi - Tricerahops, Magnolia - Proving Ground IPA, Speakeasy - Big Daddy IPA.
  • I got into homebrewing when my fiance bought me a 1 gallon kit from Brooklyn Brew Shop, little did she know I'd catch the home brew bug. Currently running a 2.5 gallon setup in a small apartment in San Bruno, hope to eventually move to 5 gallons and continue to learn all I can about my hobby.
  • Ninkasi Tricerahops Clone, Pale Aler, Belgian White, Stoutr, Porter
  • Blackberry Red Ale
  • Bourbon Dubbel (with Makers Mark soaked oak wood chips), IPA

I brewed my first IPA 4 and 1/2 weeks ago. It was an all grain kit from Brooklyn Brew Shop and
contained a small amount of hops so I wasn't expecting a huge nose or even a high IBU. I
    fermented for 2 ...
