Normal air is 20% pure O2. It seems that it would infuse just as well as pure, but would just
take longer. Logical?

Next time I'm going to leave half the cooled wort in a second bucket to assure plenty of head
space. After the wild foaming is over it will all go into one bucket.

I use a 5 gal. bucket with just 3 inches of head space. Saf Ale SO4 yeast. But this happens no
matter which yeast I use. Is it best to add fermcap in the boil or at pitch time? I was told
either is OK...

The recipe target is predetermined to be 1.062. I wanted to know what will two pounds of dark

Is there a simple calculator that will indicate the change in specific gravities when a certain
amount of a fermentable is added? I broke my hydrometer last night. Fermentation is under way.
I have th...
