Yeah I kind of thought that if anything, head retention will suffer the most. I hate when I
make brewing mistakes. It's hard to RDWHAHB when it's all frozen!

So in the process of kegging a batch last night, I somehow left the probe to the temp
controller hanging out of the keezer. It tried and tried to get my whole garage down to 40
    degrees...but only mana...

Since you don't have time to make a starter with liquid yeast, I would just rehydrate a packet

If you sanitized everything properly, carefully controlled your temp when you pitched, and
controlled the fermentation temp, then the beer is most likely just green (and probably not
    fully carbed). I ...

It's a good kit. Smooth as silk. Coffee is present, but plays the background. Pretty subtle in
my opinion. NB's Nukey Brown Ale might be better suited for your tastes since you're not fond
    of coffee f...

Just wanted to chime in regarding the Paleo eating lifestyle. Paleo is definitely not the new
fitness "religion". People who speak negatively of it have most likely never stuck to it long
    enough to re...

Brewed the extract version on Saturday. I was lazy and didn't make a starter. Pitched a vial of
WLP013 (London Ale) straight into the bucket. Once it got going, it really took off. I had to
    change the...
