    I'm new to homebrewing & have just attempted two one gallon batches of mead.

  • Home brew is something that has interested me for a while, but like many thought it was expensive and time consuming.

    After looking into it a bit further, i'm now a proud owner of 4 demijohns, hydrometer, and thermometer.

    I can't remember what the gravity was. But I do remember it was 22% after final rack, perhaps

    I've noticed there are a few recipes that say you should put raisins in. Could you use currants
