- Software engineer with plenty of chemistry and biology classes--took micro and bioorganic chem--and industry experience in all forms of control software, biological assay/testing, etc. I am into homebrewing for the fun of it--this way I get to have a nice bio/chem lab and put my embedded/control experience to good use as well. I am also into permaculture, raising small farm animals, kayaking, and camping.

- I started with Mr. Beer and am moving into the next phase with a brewers best kit, extra fermenter, a 32qt brew pot, a pile of control equipment and software, and 1.5ac of land to grow some hops and barley for experimentation. My buddies are getting into the hobby and we have a mentor and a chef to add to the team. I am the software/electronics guy, and we have a chemical engineer(mentor), a couple of mechanics, and a chef in the team. I have a very limited machine shop and stick/gas welders so it will be interesting to see what we can do on the construction side. I never do things small!
- Brewers best cream ale, Plan on doing some type of all grain brew next week, and ultimately a hops garden and a small plot of barley and soft white wheat to say everything was made on the premises.
- Mr. Beer Canadian Draft + Vienna Lager and extra booster packs(a fine mess) in an 6.5g ale pail.
