I just did my house wheat and after I kegged and it was carbed I added blood orange Puree and
it has a slight tartness but but not to harsh. I only add fruit/extract additions after the
beer is kegged...

It'll be fine, I soldered my manifold in My mash tun and it's fine. Water pipes all across
America are made of the same type of material. Drink a beer dude.

Never when I've had the flu, but my last batch I did, right after mash in I got a horrible
migraine, could barley function let alone brew but I pushed on and finished most miserable brew

Have him help stir when your mashing in, other little tasks he could help with like watching
the boil while your cleaning your mash tun. Weighing ingredients, little simple tasks. I brew
with a friend...

Vote for the 3 gallon set up since you could easily go 5 gallon kegs if you wanted.
