Hi I've just barrelled my lager an i like it ice cold but my barrel won't fit in the fridge
I've bought. Does anyone know of any cooling jackets etc?? Cheers.

It's a tooheys lager kit fermented at around 22 degrees the instructions say it should finish
fermentation between 4-7 days an be ready for bottling.

Hi I've just done a lager it's been in the bucket 9 days and fermentation seems to have stopped
the first reading was 1038 I've just taken another reading and it's 1026. Is this reading still

I barrelled my cider 2 wks ago an I'm waiting for it to clear now but i had a sneaky taste an
it's very dry/harsh. Will it sweeten up any? On a plus note its stating to smell ok.

Hi when i unscrew the cap slightly it releases the pressure an the tap stops dripping so i know
the tap is ok. Cheers

Are you aging it in a wooden barrel?No in a plastic barrel
