- Started because I wanted "cheap", good beer in college. Started with the basic, boil, pitch, bottle in '95. I'm pretty sure a buddy and I have brewed every recipe in "The Complete Joy of Homebrewing"! I've been on hiatus since my brew buddy moved away about 5 years ago. Luckily, my neighbor is getting into brewing and reinvigorated my interest. Just tried my first all grain 4/2011!
- Thinking about a "summer" beer that more friends and family will enjoy (less hoppy) as I've currently been on an IPA kick.

METTLER PE16 ELECTRONIC SCALELarge and heavy but very accurate and forgiving. Plus, it has a 32
lb capacity, so you can weight out your grain as well. New, these are $3,000.
