    Start filling your BK with the valve accidentally open, and then walk away for 20 min.
    Downstairs neighbors complained about bubbles forming on their ceiling. Don't do that.

    A ball lock valve isn't much. Mill + Grains & a weldless ball lock valve. My homebrew shop
    offered to drill the hole for me if I brought my kettle in, so maybe you wouldn't have to buy
    the step bit.

    If a ball lock was placed high enough, theoretically you could always just tip the kettle to
    get more without catching trub. I wish there was an affordable way to have a rotating racking
    arm.
