    ABOUT ME

  • Always liked to cook and always loved beer. I watched an episode of Brewmasters on History channel and realized that I could brew my own. I packed the family into the car and went to the local HBS and bought a kit and started with an All-grain American IPA that came out fantastic. I have never used an extract EVER. I always want to see, feel and smell all of my ingredients myself. To me, this is brewing beer.

OK I wanted to try this. I like the idea of a super cheap recipe with all of the ingredients
directly off the supermarket shelves. I have a store close to my house that quite a bit of
    Spanish products...

Since it only goes into dormancy it has no effect on carbonation when you prime and bottle if

Thanks for the quick reply, so this will help eliminate that yeast that seems to eventually
appear in the bottle even if it looked clear giong in?

I'm new to brewing but have brewed about 6 batches since March. I read in a lot of posts about
cold crashing. Could someone please explain what this is and when you would consider
    it?
