  yeah I would use the carboy for the apfelwein that way you do not have to rack it from the ale
  pale to the carboy later. Next time you do a Hefe use a carboy because the yeast are so fun to
  watch :roc...

  I picked one of these up on friday for 13 bucks then went straight to lowes, I had my MLT built
  that night.I brewed with it on Sunday, it is so much better then my 7.5gal
