I was considering brewing right in my 5 gallon keg, but I'd heard the acidic environment may
    still corro...

The pellicle on my Consecration clone looks like something out of an alien movie.Wow, that's a
    unique one. What'd you pitch?

Well this is my first sour, so that's good to know. However, when I racked into the secondary I
ended up with about 5 inches of headspace and I still have a couple inches of white glop on the
    bottom. ...

I don't know about those, but why don't you use the two-piece?I'm not sure what you mean by two
piece, do you mean the s-shaped ones?I've heard that S-Shaped Airlocks can gurgle both

I was just wondering if any of you have tried these and what your thoughts are on them. I'm
looking for a way to keep my long term brews from pulling in sanitizer every time they see a
    small temp fluc...
