  Mine has suction cups that attach to the sides of the rubbermaid. Never had a problem with
  melting.

  Coconut is oily, which may affect head retention. I'd add some wheat for that reason alone.

  I couldn't use it without a hook either. My kettle is massively wide and it would get knocked
  over. But it would be a very simple thing to add a hook myself.

  PBW for cleaning and Star San for sanitizing, mixed according to the instructions. Use
  distilled water for the Star San.
