Got a Mr. Beer setup when the wife dragged me into Bed Bath and Beyond. I brought it home and brewed my first batch - it tasted like crap so I started reading books and blogs on home brewing. I originally used the Mr. Beer and their malts with my own additions until I bought my first two bucket system and glass carboys 4 years ago. I currently brew 5 gallon batches two or three at a time with tweo beers on tap at all times (and some special brews bottled and aging).
This hobby is the most addictive thing I have ever done and I love it! Most people go to rehab for drinking too much of it, I may have to go for making too much of it. -
